Our First Group Presentation
The day of March 12, 2023, class of SPC2608 had their first presentations. The first group out of three present the first chapters one through four of the textbook we are currently reading. While the first group's presentation was well scripted and they covered all points of each chapter, they took nearly the entire class period to cover. The objective was to view two presentations. Besides time being overlapped, Group 1 did an excellent job in their presentation.
The second group, my group, had to present both that Friday and the Monday after due to insufficient amount of time which, although we were all pretty nervous, and bothered with the idea of presenting half one day and the rest, the other, we were quite grateful for the extra time for preparation. At least I was. My group covered the Modes of Speeches, how to deliver a speech effectively, etc. I believe we did a great job in explaining what was needed to be covered as well as using enough necessary time in order for the last group to have enough to present theirs.
I was definitely nervous, I had the perfect notes to explain every slide I created. Unfortunately, I was so nervous, I could barely get a word out. Which does not look great when you are presenting the types of speeches and how to deliver effectively. Well, someday I will be able to speak without stuttering or freezing in front of an audience.
The last group Presented to their best abilities, we all did! They provided a thorough explanation of the last chapters that needed to be covered.
Well, this is not 1000 words. Please add it and send it to me again.
