Blog 1: Group Presentations During our first week had three different presentations that discussed various topics based on the  2013 Edition iSpeak  book. My group and I were the second group to present, we were in charge of chapters 5-9. I believe that our speech and PowerPoint were very well written and said. Our presentation was very informative and even though we worked on it together, I got to learn a lot more about how to deliver a speech, such as the do’s and don’t’s. From reading this book, I learned how to make a speech sound authentic and interesting. Some of my group members spoke about how to make sure that when someone speaks, they don't sound too blunt or to proper. Having the appropriate attitude when speaking is also something important that I learned. I also learned how to attend to certain people's needs. Knowing that many people have sensory needs and that there are ways to assist them in understanding and enjoying any speech and/or presentation. ...

For my first blog post I'd like to reflect on our first presentation project for SPC2608. For this project, our class was divided into three groups to present on the contents of the three sections of our iSpeak textbook and our class leaders were in charge of introductions and technical assistance including making our breakout rooms in the Zoom platform. I do think that everyone put their best foot forward to deliver a great first presentation, however, I would kindly like to give some feedback for improvements in the future.     Starting off with group one, while the great material was there, there seemed to be a lack of communication to create a smooth flow between group members. It is important to at least know somewhat of each other's content as well as the subsequent order of members presenting to develop techniques or small phrases to smoothly transition from one person to the next during a group presentation; this way the overall delivery does...

To select and arrange content, we must find information and support our ideas , organize, and outline our presentation, select speeches , choose our words, and use visual resources and presentation technology. Estefania Osorio May 22, 2023 SPC 2608 Blog 1: Group Presentations I would like to start by sincerely congratulating every student in our class for their excellent performance during the most recent PowerPoint presentation. The success of our presentation was actually due to an extraordinary demonstration of commitment, talent, and teamwork. Everyone put up a significant amount of effort and dedication, and the end product was a clear and captivating presentation that held our interest. This presentation was real proof of the effort and planning that each member of our group put into it.The presentation as a whole was extremely impressive, however I'd like to draw attention to a minor problem with some people's confidence levels during their various segments of the presentation. During the presentations of their assigned themes, some participants stood out as appearing less confident. Their entire manner of speaking, tone of voice, and body language all gave off an air of uncer...
